Here at Jen Williams Jewellery, I understand how it feels to be a customer and I strive to ensure that your visit is an enjoyable experience. I have set out these terms and conditions to provide you with all the relevant information you may need to shop with me. If I have missed anything out or you would like clarification, please contact me and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
2. Contact Hours
I aim to answer all emails within 24 hours, Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. If you contact me over the weekend, we’ll get back to you Monday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully, by using this website and/or placing an order you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Access to this Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and I reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Services without notice. I will not be liable if for any reason if this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some or all parts of this Website.
3. Terms of Sale
By placing an order you are entering into an agreement to purchase a product and are subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.
If your order is accepted I will inform you by email. When placing an order you must ensure that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. All prices advertised are subject to such changes. We reserve the right to refuse an order.
3.1 Dispatch and Delivery
Dispatch times may vary according to the availability of a chosen product. All in stock items are dispatched within 1 -2 weeks, with most orders being dispatched within 3 to 5 working days. Please note that dispatch times may take longer at busy periods, such as Christmas.
All jewellery items are dispatched using Royal Mail’s 1st Class recorded (signed for) delivery. as standard.
If your purchase is returned to me by Royal Mail it is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for all of the postage costs to have the item/s reposted.
Stated delivery times may be subject to delays resulting from postal delays outside of Jen Williams Jewellery’s control. For these, you agree that Jen Williams Jewellery will not be held responsible.
3.2 Pricing and Availability
Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at the published prices; otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling £GBP. Every effort is made to provide you with accurate descriptions of products. All sizes and measurements are approximate and colours may vary depending on computer screen resolutions.
All details, descriptions, and prices are accurate at the time of publishing. I reserve the right to change these without notice.
PayPal and Bank Transfer are used as payment merchant throughout this website. Please see PayPal’s and your own Banking Provider’s terms and conditions for further information.
3.4 Discount Codes
From time to time I may offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any or certain specified purchases made through this Website. The conditions of use relating to any discount code will be specified at the time of issue.
Please note that once your order has been dispatched, I am unable to cancel it. Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to contact us to request a refund, then a further 14 days to return the item to us. In this circumstance, please follow the below returns policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.
In the rare event that goods are delivered faulty or damaged please contact by email on: email@example.com so that I can arrange a replacement or a refund.
If the package you receive is damaged or open please do not accept the delivery and contact me immediately to arrange a replacement. Should this occur, we will cover additional delivery costs and re-arrange delivery of a new replacement item.
Faulty items will only be accepted for return if the goods have been delivered to the customer damaged, or if a manufacturing fault occurs within the 6 months after delivery. All items that are returned as faulty will be assessed by Jen Williams Jewellery, and any item displaying damage that is deemed to be a direct result of fair wear or accidental damage will not be accepted as faulty. I offer a full repairs service for such items. There will be a small charge for this service, to cover the cost of the repair along with any shipping costs incurred.
Please note that custom made or personalised items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange unless faulty.
Jen Williams Jewellery does not accept any responsibility for return postage costs, nor for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsibilities are those of the customer. Therefore we strongly recommend using a secure and tracked service to return the goods to Jen Williams Jewellery.
Unfortunately, I do not exchange products. However, you can return an unwanted item to us for a full refund and place a new order for an alternative item. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase and would like to return the item for a refund, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your purchase. Please note that earrings are excluded from the refund policy due to hygiene reasons. We are unable to refund any earrings purchased at Jen Williams Jewellery. Also exempt from any refund are bespoke/made-to-order/personalised commissions or jewellery altered to a customer request.
If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you as soon as possible. Please refer to our returns policy (see 3.5). Refunds will only be made via the original payment method.
3.9 Late & Lost Deliveries
If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to locate it with Royal Mail. We cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of despatch; this is when the Royal Mail classes items as being lost.
Items not received but tracked as being delivered – This frequently happens when items are delivered to places of work. In some cases, your item might have been delivered to a post room or colleague within your company and someone else will have signed for it. You can check the signature of the person that has signed for the parcel, by entering your tracking number on the Royal Mail website. Please note that we do not refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. For this reason, we always recommend that you get items delivered to your home address.
Jen Williams Jewellery cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.
3.10 Complaints & Feedback
Sometimes, mistakes happen. I want to make sure that you are as happy as possible with every facet of your purchasing experience. Feedback is always welcome from customers as it enables me to improve customer service.
If you do come across a problem, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org supplying as much information as possible in order to allow me the best chance of successfully solving the issue and providing you with the best service.
4. Intellectual Property, Software and Content
The intellectual property rights in all software and content made available to you on or through this Website remains the property of Jen Williams Jewellery and are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved by Jen Williams Jewellery. You are not permitted to publish, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce, in any format, any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on this Website nor may you use any such content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise. You shall not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on any software or accompanying documentation supplied by Jen Williams Jewellery.
